How long does it take to be awarded a franchise?
Between 30- 60 days.
The franchise application drives the franchise award process. The quicker you complete and sign a franchise application and send it to us, the sooner the process can begin. Most applicants submit an application within two weeks of first contacting us.
How long do I have to select a site?
It usually takes anywhere up to 90 days.
We will be glad to assist in the process as well as suggest realtors. Market psychographics and demographics are provided. We do reserve the right to accept or reject locations.
We do not provide direct financing, although we will be glad to assist you whether you choose to work with a local bank or seek an SBA backed loan.

Owners are provided a minimum of one week training at our Corporate Offices, and more if your time permits. In addition, training is provided at your salon two days prior to opening and immediately thereafter.
Do I have to be in the salon every day?
No.
Although we strongly encourage direct involvement in operating the salon it is not a requirement. We typically find that successful new franchisees work a designated shift in their own salon. This enables them to understand the tanworld way better, hire better qualified sales associates and establish a connection with the community, thus building sales quicker.
How soon can I get a salon open?
Usually, it takes about three months. It could happen even sooner, if you have a location picked out, and financing approved. Once this has been determined, the actual build out will usually take fifty days or less.
Once you have submitted your application, and have been approved, we will reveal more in-depth figures and estimates.
Sorry, we cannot answer how much you will make and do not want to over-promise. Obviously we believe in the system since several executives are also franchisees and over 30 of the salons are in whole or part owned by current executives.
